And Speaking Of...
Now that we're talking about the garden... I've been thinking about what type of flowers and trees we'll have at our house.
Based on the computer image of our house (Photo 1), I would like to do something similar in the front with the hydrangeas (Photo 3) and maybe one of the other 2 plants (Photos 4 and 5)... But I think that overall I want resistant plants because I know I'm not 100% reliable to keep my plants alive... although, besides the fact that I like hydrangeas I used to have a plant in my house in TJ that proved to be VERY resistant, even when I didn't water it for weeks!!!
Then I would like to line the back of our lot, next to the fence with pines, I'm not sure if we should get fat ones (like on Photo 6) or skinny ones (like Photo 7).
Last but not least, I LOVE gardenias (I even used Estee Lauder's Beyond Paradaise, a gardenia based perfum as my wedding day perfum)!!! I was thinking about planting some in the back yard... But while writing this I thought that maybe I can plant some pots and put them on the deck, maybe I can get to enjoy them more right there by the kitchen.

St. Louis Living
I'm not sure if you know, but living in the St. Louis area means mowing your own lawn, because sometimes you have to mowe your lawn once a week during the summer!!! (Of course you can pay for a gardener, but imagine how much would that be for that much grass cutting!!!).
Which brings me to this blog entry: I'm starting to look for a mower since I had no idea how much a good one would cost... I think we'll be spending less than $300 on one of the following...
The only "bad news" for me is that I thought I would find one that I would think was cute LOL... Now I have to decide which is the least ugly???
